Princeton School board approves November bond referendum
Princeton voters will be asked to approve a $12.9 million school bond referendum in November to provide money for security and technology upgrades at the six district schools. The Princeton Public Schools Board of Education approved the proposed bond referendum at its Aug. 22 meeting. The referendum will be placed on the Nov. 7 general election ballot.
Princeton Public Schools prioritize three goals for upcoming school year
The Princeton Public Schools has a three-priority focus plan for the 2023-24 school year – ensure young students learn to read and begin their study of math, to make certain that students feel they are included and supported, and to make sure students develop a “roadmap to success” after graduation.
Cranbury School rebid ‘Full STEAM ahead’ projects
A second round of bids are expected in mid-September for referendum projects that are expected to improve and add to Cranbury School facilities. Bids from contractors are due and opening on Sept. 15 for facility improvements that include the renovation of the existing gym and auditorium space into a Center for Arts Education.

Princeton High School interim principal’s contract extended
Princeton High School Interim Principal Kathie Foster’s contract has been extended to Sept. 30, as school district officials continue the search for a permanent principal. Foster was named to serve as the interim principal, beginning March 29 and ending June 30, by the Princeton Public Schools Board of Education. Her contract was extended to Aug. 31 and subsequently to Sept. 30.
