WINDSOR LOCKS, CT. (WWLP) – Delays and cancellations continue at Bradley International Airport, days after the IT outage.

US is investigating Delta’s flight cancellations and faltering response to global tech outage

According to the airport’s website, at least three flights have been delayed and two have been canceled so far Wednesday morning. The delays are to Atlanta, Minneapolis, and Philadelphia.

Across the country, 5,400 flights have been canceled since Friday. Airports are urging customers to check their flight status before they head to the airport.

A worldwide IT outage left tens of thousands of Americans across the nation stranded at the airports with several flight delays and cancellations. This becoming one of the biggest technology outages in history. According to AP News, a defective software update sent by CrowdStrike to its customers disrupted airlines, banks, hospitals, and other critical services Friday, affecting about 8.5 million machines running Microsoft’s Windows operating system.
