New funding to boost crop quality, visibility in Pa.
Harrisburg, Pa. — Pennsylvania received federal funding for ten research projects focused on boosting the visibility and quality of the state's specialty crops. The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture received an additional $94,363 to administer the program, bringing Pennsylvania’s total award to more than $1.01 million, according to a release from Gov. Shapiro's office. The funds are a portion of $72.9 million awarded nationwide through the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Specialty Crop Block Grant Program. ...
PennDOT Driver License, Photo Centers closed for Labor Day weekend
PENNSYLVANIA, USA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that all driver license and photo centers will be closed during Labor Day weekend.
