PINEVILLE, N.C. — A man is in jail and facing charges after allegedly assaulting a woman on a Pineville greenway Monday afternoon. A woman contacted police around 2 p.m. on Monday to report an assault on the greenway between Leitner Drive and Centrum Park in Pineville, according to a release from the Pineville Police Department.
