Winnebago County 4-H youth in grades 4-12 participated in a flower bucket workshop precursor to the July 17-21 Winnebago County Fair on June 6 in Thompson. Second-year summer intern Bree Rogne said kids brought “flower buckets” to the Winnebago County ISU Extension Office where there was an abundance of live flowers and craft supplies to paint and decorate their five-gallon buckets and create floral arrangements in them.
