Salt-N-Pepa’s Pepa Says She Was Unfairly Kicked Off Southwest Airlines Flight After Refusing to Give Up Seat
On Monday (July 15), Salt-N-Pepa’s Pepa was removed from a Southwest Airlines flight from Las Vegas to Nashville and considered a safety risk. According to TMZ, the rapper purchased two seats because of the car crash she had in 2018. On the plane, a flight attendant told her she could only have one seat because she wasn’t in a cast, although wearing a knee brace. After some back-and-forth with the flight attendants, Pepa was allowed to keep the extra seat.
New Stateline Casino to host job fair this week
SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. — A new casino operated by a Nevada franchise plans to open at Stateline by early August. Currently in the midst of final touches, the Tahoe Nugget Casino is holding a hiring event this week from 9 a.m. to 4 pm.. on July 16, 17, and 18 (Tuesday through Thursday). The deadline is July 22 to register for a July 25 Chautauqua workshop led by award-winning actress and scholar Leslie Goddard at the Dangberg Historic Park.
