RECALL ALERT: Thousands of Louisiana Vehicles Could Be Impacted By Faulty Fuel Pump
LAFAYETTE, La. (KPEL News) - Hyundai vehicle owners in Louisiana may need to check their fuel pumps after a recall notice from the company that impacts nearly 55,000 vehicles. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the automotive company is recalling certain 2019-2023 models of Genesis G70, Veloster N, Elantra N, and Kona N because of problems with the fuel delivery system.
AHS South bids on Glenwood in Steward Health Care sale
Steward Health Care announced Sunday that it has received the highest or best offer for Glenwood Regional Medical Center in West Monroe. If the bankruptcy court approves, Steward says AHS South LLC would be the new owner of Glenwood. Steward also announced that Pafford Health Systems put in a bid for Wadley Regional Medical Center in Hope, Arkansas.

Monroe woman arrested after shooting and killing one person, police say
MONROE, La. (KNOE) - A Monroe woman was arrested on July 20 after officers with the Monroe Police Department said she admitted to shooting someone earlier that day. Responding officers said they found Kialynshia Jordan at the scene on Barrington Drive making comments about shooting the victim. Jordan was arrested and brought to the Monroe Police Department.
