Monroe woman arrested after shooting and killing one person, police say
MONROE, La. (KNOE) - A Monroe woman was arrested on July 20 after officers with the Monroe Police Department said she admitted to shooting someone earlier that day. Responding officers said they found Kialynshia Jordan at the scene on Barrington Drive making comments about shooting the victim. Jordan was arrested and brought to the Monroe Police Department.

Initially, it was announced the event would be held at Independence Stadium, however, the venue has been changed to the Municipal Auditorium.
