Stray showers possible through the afternoon
SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Showers and a few storms have been mainly affecting the southeastern corner of the ArkLaTex in north central Louisiana all morning long. Hence, a Flood Warning is now in effect for Natchitoches and Sabine parishes due to the rain. This batch of showers and storms will meander off to the northeast through the afternoon leaving us with mostly drier conditions with the chance for a few stray showers and storms across the ArkLaTex. High will remain in the 70′s for most of the southeastern corner of the region with areas to the northwest hanging in the 80′s.

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – Louisiana Senator Dr. Bill Cassidy announced money for Louisiana airport improvements, including Shreveport Regional Airport. A news release from the senator’s office announced $9M allotted for improvements to state airports through the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA).
