Farmer Dies in Suspected Killer Bee Attack Near Huntsville, Texas
Bryce Harold Smith, 75, passed away on Wednesday, July 23, after being stung by numerous bees. The attack happened on the man's property just south of Bedias, Texas. According to a report from KCTV-5, Smith was stung approximately 60 times around the face and neck area. Human remains discovered on College Street in Beaumont, investigation underway
BEAUMONT, Texas — Beaumont Police discovered human remains in the 1300 block of College Street on July 22, 2024. The remains were in an advanced state of decomposition, making identification challenging, according to a press release from the Beaumont Police Department. The deceased is believed to be a Caucasian or Hispanic male, aged 30 to 40 years, with a height between 5'10" and 6'. Notably, he was missing a tooth on his front bottom jaw, which is believed to have been lost before death. Forensic analysis suggests the individual died approximately two weeks ago.
