Johnson steps down as Nation Ford athletic director
Nearly two years after their last athletic director resigned, Nation Ford High School is in the market for another one. Falcons’ athletic director Dave Johnson resigned from his job earlier this week after holding the position for roughly two years. Johnson took the job as an interim in August 2022 after former athletic director Jaybe Shackleford resigned following a motorcycle accident. Ironically, both resignations came during the third week of August roughly two years apart.

Brick Manufacturer, Shipping Container Firm Grow In South Carolina
US Brick, a manufacturer and direct supplier of residential and commercial brick, is expanding its Richland County, South Carolina operations. The company’s $5.5 million investment will create 33 new jobs. With a focus on continuing its legacy of “Born Here. Built Here,” US Brick will modernize its facility, located in Columbia, SC with a secondary kiln and manufacturing line that will double its capacity at the site.
