On National Tequila Day — Wednesday, July 24 — Macayo’s Mexican Food will offer a number of related specials: Beeritas, featuring a margarita on the rocks or frozen with a Dos XX, and margarita flights, featuring a choice of four flavors, including house, apple, mango, peach, prickly pear, raspberry, strawberry and wildberry. $7 each.

Bullhead City announces open soccer, softball fields
BULLHEAD CITY –The City of Bullhead City is excitedly announcing the launch of open fields at Rotary Park and Ken Fovargue Park. As of July 16, a section of Soccer fields at Rotary Park, located at 2315 Balboa Dr, and a softball field at Ken Fovargue Park, located at 2255 Trane Rd, will be open to the public every Tuesday and Thursday night from sunset to 10 p.m. The open fields will provide a designated space and time for families and individuals without team or league affiliation to enjoy the fields.

Retail chain Big Lots to close 13 locations across Arizona
PHOENIX – Big Lots will be closing over a dozen of its Arizona stores, a product of the company’s plans to shut down multiple locations across the country. Thirteen locations across the Grand Canyon State are planned to close sometime this year. Closing stores will have banners on their personal webpages indicating their closure and promoting a 20% off discount with limited exceptions.
