Dogs taken from Coastal Dreams Rescue may soon be up for adoption
BUCKSPORT -- The Maine Department of Agriculture has offered more information surrounding the recent Coastal Dreams Rescue and Sanctuary investigation. According to a statement from the Maine Department of Agriculture Director of Communications, Jim Britt, the Animal Welfare Program relocated twenty seven dogs from Coastal Dreams Rescue and Sanctuary in Bucksport.

Following a naming contest, the trash truck was dubbed “Optimus Grime” after the character Optimus Prime from the Transformers franchise. A combined childcare and affordable housing project has received approval from Portland officials
The Portland Planning Board has approved a combined affordable housing and childcare project in downtown Portland. The top four floors of the six-story building would house 60 apartments, with 80% designated as affordable. The bottom floors would be the home of the service provider, Youth & Family Outreach, and provide childcare and pre-K to 110 children.
