Motorcyclist killed in predawn Winston County crash
A motorcyclist was killed in a predawn crash in Winston County. Alabama State Troopers identified the fatality victim as Walter D. Watkins Jr. He was 52 and lived in Bankston. The wreck happened at 4:50 a.m. Tuesday on Alabama 13 near U.S. 278. That location is less than a mile from Lynn.
