    Winterville 12U baseball team wins regional title, heads to Cal Ripken World Series

    WINTERVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — The Winterville 12U All-Star baseball team has advanced to play at the Cal Ripken World Series in Branson, Missouri.

    Members of the regional championship team include: Kipton Copper, Connor Brooks, Gunnor Purvis, Phillip Kuenzi, Tucker Blodgett, Trey Cannon, Coleston Cooper, Bronson Joyner, Jake Briley, Levi Riggs, Head Coach Brad Sikes, Assistant Coach Steve Brooks, Assistant Coach Patrick Bailey and Assistant Coach Cody Godley.
