Hector woman killed in weekend crash in Renville County
(Hector MN-) The Renville County Sheriff's Department is investigating a fatal crash that happened Sunday afternoon northeast of Hector. At 3:34 p.m. Sunday they got a 911 call about a one vehicle crash near the intersection of County Road 22 and 850th Avenue, 5 miles northeast of Hector. Emergency responders found a pickup resting on it's top at the bottom of a creek bank, but not in the water. There were two people inside, and emergency crews removed the driver, 40-year-old Nikolaus Beglau of Hector and passenger Katie Dupre, age 36 of Hector. Despite life-saving efforts, Dupre died at the scene. Beglau was flown by air ambulance to Hennepin County Medical Center and his current condition is unknown. Investigators believe Beglau had been northbound on County Road 22 when he entered the ditch, went airborne and the pickup landed on it's roof on the opposite side of the creek.
Statewide Missing Person Alert For 17-Year-Old Minnesota Girl
Sartell, MN (KROC-AM News) - A statewide alert has been issued for a missing Minnesota teenager. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension says 17-year-old Kaydence Johnson has been missing for 30 days and is now considered and endangered missing person. The alert says she and another teenage girl ran away from a residence in the City of Sartell on June 22.
