WISCONSIN DELLS, Wis. -- After five seasons missing in action, Noah's Ark Waterpark announced Thursday the beloved "OctoExplorer" made an epic return, complete with a new look and modern enhancements.

OctoExplorer, which reopened on Thursday, is an iconic bright yellow submarine attraction for smaller swimmers at the waterpark. To repair the 30-year-old exhibit, Noah's Ark said it refreshed the paint, adding more vibrant colors, and included a television set and surround sound system inside the attraction to create an upgraded immersive experience.

In addition to the technological upgrades and new paint job, Noah's Ark said the OctoExplorer features four smaller waterslides and a periscope for children. The slides have been repainted with the submarine structure.

Guests can experience the revitalized OctoExplorer, along with many more waterpark rides, by purchasing tickets at NoahsArkWaterpark.com .
