According to police, the victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-fatal injuries. The suspect was arrested and criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.

However, later on Thursday evening, Milwaukee Police issued an update noting that the incident was determined to be an armed robbery and not a shooting, according to police who noted during a dispute, the armed suspect stole the victim’s vehicle.

The victim’s injuries were caused from a dog, police noted.
