    Wood County inspections: See how your favorite Marshfield- and Wisconsin Rapids-area restaurants performed

    The following are the latest results of Wood County Health Department inspections on licensed food establishments and other types of businesses, which the Wisconsin Rapids Daily Tribune and Marshfield News-Herald report monthly.

    Hewitt

    • Sceeter & Otis' Village Inn, 10994 Main St.: April 16: No violations.

    Marshfield

    • Hampton Inn & Suites, 400 W. Upham St.: April 16: Three violations: Test kit not available for checking sanitizer concentration; no certified food manager for establishment; no current food protection manager's certificate posted in establishment.
    • Pee Wee's Black and Blue, 301 N. Central Ave.: April 17: Two violations: No food protection manager's certificate posted in establishment; female bathroom not provided with covered waste receptacle.
    • Scotty's Pizza, 100 S. Chestnut Ave.: April 23: No violations.
    • Taqueria El Sol/Supermarket La Central, 1705 S. Central Ave.: April 8: Four violations: Employee washing hands without using soap; hot water at handwashing sink not at proper temperature (corrected during inspection); large amounts of food debris in basin of hand sink; faucet at three-compartment sink leaking and not in good repair.

    Wood County inspections: One restaurant has 8 violations and another requires second reinspection

    Wood County inspections: Seven restaurants with no violations

    Wisconsin Rapids

    • 1st Street Pub, 1451 First St. N.: April 18: One violation: Test kit not available for checking sanitizer concentration.
    • Dairy Treat, 1110 W. Grand Ave.: April 17: Two violations: Scented bleach not approved; handwashing sink blocked and unavailable for proper handwashing.
    • Homestead Country Club, 3372 State 73: April 23: Two violations: Sanitizer not used according to label directions; ware-washing machine not dispensing detergent or sanitizer automatically.
    • iSpoon Sushi Grill & Buffet, 4531 Eighth St. S., Suite 106: April 10: Two violations: Raw chicken and raw shrimp stored above ready-to-eat foods (corrected during inspections); no handwashing signs at the handwashing sinks.
    • Ida's Neighborhood Sports Bar and Grill, 1981 Lincoln St.: April 3: No violations.
    • Jimmy John's, 2020 Eighth St. S.: April 18: No violations.
    • The Junkyard Bar & Grill, 9047 State 13 S.: April 23: No violations.
    • McDonald's, 2128 Eighth St. S.: April 3: One violation: Dish machine sanitizer not used according to label instructions (corrected during inspection).
    • Qdoba, 1821 Eighth St. S.: April 4: No violations.
    • TriCity Golf Course, 3010 Golf Course Road: April 4: No violation.
    • Whoudini's, 2010 Chestnut St.: April 9: Two violations: Dish machine sanitizer not used according to label instructions; cardboard present on shelving in kitchen.
