Steve's Rental at 940 Huntington Ave. in Wisconsin Rapids is now Premier Rental.

Wyatt and Steph Randecker announced in January they had purchased Steve's Rental & Service after returning to their hometown in 2023. In June, the Randeckers launched The Food Truck Lot in the parking lot, offering a place for food truck owners to park their trucks and serve food. They have hosted weekly vendor events, highlighting local food trucks and other local vendors in the lot.

A few days ago, the Randeckers announced the business name would change to Premier Rental. The couple told the Daily Tribune they decided to change the name after hearing feedback from customers and the community. They said they are focusing on being the premier rental company in the area by upgrading equipment and streamlining their rental system.

Premier Rental will no longer offer parts and service, as the business will focus more on providing well-maintained and reliable equipment. The Randeckers said they will keep their existing service appointments as scheduled but for future service appointments, they have been recommending Rapids Rental. Premier Rental will also continue to honor gift certificates for Steve's Rental.

"We appreciate all of the support we have been getting from the community for both Premier Rental and The Food Truck Lot," they said.
