Undecided Wisconsin voter Rick Gagliano told Fox & Friends host Lawrence Jones that he was “bored” during former President Donald Trump’s Republican National Convention speech and complained the Republican nominee “didn’t push me closer to him.”

Gagliano, who appeared alongside two other self-identified undecideds on Friday morning’s show, criticized the former president’s rally-style speech for repeatedly “looking back” on his last term and not telling attendees “what’s going on in the next four years.”

Trump, who concluded the convention with a lengthy speech that ran on for more than an hour and a half, began with reflections on the assassination attempt against him and continued into familiar fare that included his legal woes and claims about his past record – many of which were fact-checked by CNN.

Speaking to Gagliano, Jones asked: “The former president only mentioned the current president once in his speech. Was that the right move to make last night?”

The guest responded: “You know, yes, in some ways, because I think he was trying to say, too, that Biden is probably not going to be the nominee. And so he doesn’t want to associate his criticism of the administration against Biden. I think he was going to try and say it against Democrats in general. So that’s I thought he was fine with that.”

Jones pressed: “And how do you think the former president did in that speech?”

“I like the beginning part and then it turned into more of a rally speech,” Gagliano replied. “And I’ve seen two of his rallies, in person. And then I got bored, to be totally honest with you. And I’m sorry. He kept looking back, saying, ‘four years ago we did this.’ And I’m like: ‘I want to know what’s going on in the next four years. I’m tired of hearing what you did. I want to know what you’re going to do.’ And so I didn’t push me closer to him.”

Later in the segment, Gagliano revealed that while he was still mulling between voting for RFK, Jr, and Trump, he’d likely vote for the former president.
