Attention all motorsports enthusiasts! The Milwaukee Region SCCA is gearing up for the adrenaline-pumping Autocross Event #2, which will be held on May 19 at the expansive Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Wisconsin. This event promises to bring together speed, precision, and the competitive spirit of autocross participants.

The day's activities will kick off bright and early, with registration and check-in starting at 8:00 am and concluding promptly at 9:00 am. Participants will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the course until 9:45 am, ensuring they're ready for the challenge ahead. A mandatory drivers meeting will follow, along with a first heat worker check-in at 9:45 am before the first car launches at 10:15 am.

For those new to the autocross scene, there's no need to fret over car classifications. Assistance will be provided to help you determine the appropriate class for your vehicle, with a Novice Class available for first-year entrants. A detailed run/work order is planned to ensure a smooth flow for the day, with the event typically wrapping up around 4:30 pm.

Entry fees for SCCA members are set at $55, while non-members can join in on the fun for $65, which includes a weekend membership. A late registration fee of $10 applies for those signing up two days prior to the event. Remember to be on time; a hard registration cutoff is enforced to maintain the event's schedule and fairness to all participants.

Mark your calendars and prepare your cars for an exhilarating day of autocross competition at the Alliant Energy Center!
