    Adult-centric Halloween activities in Broome County

    BROOME COUNTY, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – If you’re too old to Trick or Treat but want to celebrate the spooky season with some special activities, News 34 has got you covered.

    News 34 is your Fall Fun Headquarters. We’ve compiled a list of fun and frightening Halloween happenings around Greater Binghamton that are perfect for a boos and ghoul’s night out. Break out your favorite costume and check out these spooktacular events.

    October 18:

    The Historic Bundy House Ghost Tours: An event focused on history and ghostly fun is back at the Bundy. The Bundy Museum of History and Art is once again hosting ghost tours of the Bundy House. In collaboration with Phantom Visions Paranormal, investigators will try to capture haunting interactions of historic spirits on camera throughout the house and will share the findings with those in attendance. The ghost tour will be held from 8 to 10 p.m. Registration is required for the event. The cost is $25 per person.     Give Me a Sign – If the Dead Could Speak: Phelps Mansion’s annual hauntingly historical event is back for the month of October. Give Me a Sign – If the Dead Could Speak is returning to the Phelps Mansion Museum throughout the month of October. The event will a look at the rise of spiritualism in the 19th century. Guests in attendance will tour the mansion and learn about its history. There will be a discussion on the origins of spirituality, some of the devices used to communicate with the deceased, the believers and detractors, how the spirits haunted literature with the birth of gothic horror, and more. The tour will also be held on October 19, October 25, and October 26. Tours start at 7 p.m. and run approximately 90 minutes. Tickets to the tour are $20 general admission and $15 for Phelp Mansion Musuem Members. To purchase tickets, visit phelpsmansion.org .

    October 19:

    Ghouls Night Out Halloween Party: Hey Hallo-Queens! The YWCA of Binghamton and Broome County’s annual Ghouls Night Out has returned. Those is attendance will be able to celebrate the holiday and support of the critical human service needs of woman in the local area. This year, the event will be held in the downstairs beer hall of Beer Tree Factory. Tickets are $75 include and open bar, appetizers, a photo booth, music from DJ Thaddeus, and a costume contest with prizes. A portion of every ticket sold will go to the YWCA of Binghamton and Broome County. To purchase your ticket, click here . The event will be held from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

    Harvest Fest: It’s harvest season and Beer Tree Farm is relishing in all of the autumn activities. Held from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Beer Tree Farm will be hosting its Harvest Fest. With fall flavored craft beer and cider, guests will be able to enjoy the change of the season as they listen to live music and shop from vendors. There will also be activities for the kids.

    Monster Prom: Calling all monsters, ghosts, witches, and ghouls! Southern Finger Lakes Pride, Riot Act Books, and Parlor City Roller Derby are presenting Monster Prom. All Halloween lovers over the age of 18 are welcome. There will be food, music, dancing, games, and vendors as well as a roller-skating showcase. The event will be held from 7 to 11 p.m. at PM Press Warehouse located at 21 Emma Street in Binghamton. Tickets are pay what you can. Click here to purchase.

    Halloqueen Dragtacular: Serve looks in your favorite costume as the Divas After Dark take the Cider Mill Stage by storm this Halloween. Your favorite local queens will present their annual Halloween drag show at 7:30 p.m. Katrina and DeDe Kupps are hosting the glamorously spooky event with performances by Monroe Sedgwick, Peaches Eclaire, India Bombay, and Miss Viola. The night will be filled with drinks, fun, and memories you won’t want to miss. Tickets are $25. To Purchase, click here .

    A Frightening Affair of Tunes and Tarots at Stadium 138: Junior league of Binghamton and Stadium 138 are hosting a ghoulishly good evening of Halloween themed fun to benefit food insecurity in our community. The event will raise money for the Junior League’s food insecurity projects, including a Food Recovery and Prepared Meal food truck, as well as the 2025 Designer Show House. The bewitching affair will feature food, beverages, and basket raffles along with tarot and psychic reading and a costume contest. There will also be a musical performance from Alyssa Crosby. The event will be held from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. To get a discounted ticket, fill out the online form here . Guests can also pay at the door with cash or Venmo. Tickets include the event, food, and one drink ticket. Those who come in costume will automatically be entered into the door prize.

    Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice!: Don’t say it three times! Grab your handbook for the recently deceased and head to the Lost Dog Cafe and Lounge at 10 p.m. for its annual Halloween party. This year’s theme is Beetlejuice so come dressed in theme or wear whatever you’d like, just remember there are prizes for best costumes. Katrina and Miss Viola are coming to judge the annual Costume Contest. There will be categories of funniest, sexiest, most “on theme”, and best overall. DJ Frankie will be providing the music and there will be specialty cocktails. Lost Dog says there will even be some surprises. The event is for those over the age of 21. There is no cost to attend.

    Halloween Sip N Ride: An entertaining exhibition is coming to Oakwood Manor this Halloween. The manor is hosting a Halloween Sip N Ride from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Any level of riding experience is welcome. There will be wine, non-alcoholic drinks, and spooky snacks. Guests may ride one of the manor’s lesson horses or bring their own partner. Everyone will also have an experienced and personable handler to assist as needed. Also included will be a bonus mini lesson with an Oakwood Manor instructor. Costumes are welcome! Tickets for riders are $65, $40 for non-riders. Non-riders are welcome to observe, wander the property, meet the many farm critters, and enjoy all other aspects of the evening, but from the ground. A commemorative Oakwood Manor glass is included.     A Kick Axe Night: Beer Thirty is inviting guests to join it for axe throwing and craft beer this Halloween. Beer Thirty is hosting a Kick Axe Halloween Party from 6 to 10 p.m. Attendees are invited to dress up as there will be prizes for best costume. PACs Axe throwing will be onsite until 10 p.m. There will also be food and drink specials as well as free juke box play.

    October 27:

    Haunted Halloween Glowga: Get frighteningly fit this spooky season! Yoga Body Shop is hosting a one-of-a-kind event where the studio will be transformed into a spooky glow in the dark Zen center. The yoga studio will be hosting a 75-minute hot yoga class for all levels. Guests are encouraged to wear glow in the dark clothing as well as costumes. There will be prizes for best dressed.     October 31:

    Phelps Mansion Paranormal Investigation: Join Empirical Paranormal as they investigate the hallowed halls of the Phelps Mansion Museum. The tour will be held from 7 to 11 p.m. Tickets are $40. To purchase, click here .

    History Night – Cider and Cemetaries: Get ready for a ghastly evening of history and cider at Kilmer Mansion. Bill Tomic will be hosting a special presentation in the Grand Parlor. During the event, guests will be exploring the cemeteries of Broome County such as Spring Forest and Floral Park, where the Kilmer Mausoleum is located.
