Gala of Taste to benefit Mercy House

ENDICOTT, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – Mercy House of the Southern Tier is hosting a special event to benefit its mission.

Mercy House is hosting the 11th Annual Gala of Taste on October 24. The event will be held at Our Lady of Good Counsel Hall located at 701 West Main Street in Endicott.

The Gala of Taste features food from PS Restaurant, regional wines, and local craft beers as well as raffles, live auction items, and more. There will also be live performances from local pianist Rick Pedro and singers Ayana Del Valle, Jeff Lake and TEZZA.

The event is limited to 400 people however, those who are unable to attend can live stream the gala from their home and participate in the online virtual auction.

All proceeds will benefit Mercy House of the Southern Tier, a community care shelter for the terminally ill. Proceeds from the event will help offset the expenses associated with operations and resident care. Mercy House has cared for over 1,245 residents since its opening in March of 2016.
