Dinner and Jazz event to support DFA Symphonic Band trip to international festival

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF)– Tickets are on sale now for An Evening of Dinner and Jazz, coming up Sunday, September 15th at Sacred Heart.

The concert is presented by The Bands of Davidson Fine Arts Magnet School, and features Wycliffe Gordon and Wayne Hoey.

Gordon is a renowned musician, composer, conductor and arranger. Hoey is a retired military musician and Yahama Performing Artist.

Proceeds from the event go toward the DFA bands costs for the Pacific Basin International Music Festival in Hawaii.

This semi-formal event will feature live jazz, dinner, door prizes, a silent auction and more. Tickets are $35 each or $250/table (8). You must buy tickets in advance and they may be purchased at showclix.com/events/32271# or scan the code below:
