    Creative Impressions presents ‘Genius In Chains,’ presentation of Black music in America

    AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – Creative Impressions is presenting a musical performance of history and culture at the “Genius In Chains: The Evolution of Black Music in America.”

    This event will take place on Saturday, August 17th at 3 P.M. at the Augusta Museum of History on Reynolds Street in Augusta, Georgia.

    According to the event information, “Genius In Chains” is a captivating journey that invites audiences to explore the rhythms and narratives that have influenced our world, and it features a compelling performance that traces the evolution of African-American music from its origins before American slavery to its impact on modern culture.
