    Woman found shot to death in Richmond County

    AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) — An investigation is underway after a woman was found shot to death in Richmond County Saturday morning.

    The Richmond Coroner’s Office responded to Dan Bowles Road, where she was found lying in the street with a gunshot wound.

    She was pronounced dead a little before 3 a.m.

    An autopsy is scheduled.
