    One person dead after ATV accident in Hephzibah

    HEPHZIBAH, Ga. (WJBF) – One person is dead after an ATV accident at the intersection of Eagle Pass and Greiner Circle in Hephzibah.

    Authorities say the incident happened on Saturday, August 17th.

    According to the Burke County Sheriff’s Office, Robert Joseph Bouteiller, 39, of Harlem, was identified as the driver who died in this crash.

    The Burke County Sheriff’s Office identify the surviving passengers as Sean Parker, 34, and Felicia Parker, 34, both of Millen, Georgia, and Christopher Wright, 43, of Jackson, South Carolina, and authorities say all three of them are currently receiving medical care at Wellstar MCG Hospital and reported to be in stable condition.

    The Burke County Sheriff’s Office states that this is an ongoing investigation as they are looking into the cause of the accident and are working diligently to determine the factors that led to the crash.
