National Night Out event hosted in North Augusta

NORTH AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – In North Augusta Tuesday night, the city hosted its National Night Out event.

The event had been originally scheduled for Tuesday, August 6, but due to weather delays the North Augusta Department of Public Safety pushed it to this week.

The National Night Out allows those in the community to come together and build a stronger relationship with law enforcement in North Augusta, Edgefield and Aiken Counties.

The event is part of a nationwide initiative.
