Augusta crash victim dies 10 days after accident

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – The Richmond County Coroner’s Office responded to Wellstar / MCG Hospital in reference to a death from a motor vehicle crash that occurred on Saturday, August 10th.

The crash happened on Peach Orchard Road at Tobacco Road.

67-year-old John Thomas from Augusta was taken to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

He was pronounced dead on Tuesday, August 20th at 7:08 p.m.
