SLED looking for suspect in Denmark Grocery shooting in Bamberg County

BAMBERG COUNTY, S.C. (WJBF) – South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) is asking for help from the public in identifying the suspect of a shooting that took place in Denmark, S.C. this month.

Denmark Police Chief Leroy Grimes requested SLED’s assistance on Tuesday, Aug. 6, in the investigation of a shooting that occurred after 8 p.m. at the Denmark Grocery on 59 Magnolia Avenue.

The owner of the store owner was shot and taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries. No other injuries were reported.

According to SLED, no items were stolen from the store.

SLED is asking those with information regarding the incident to call (866) 472-8477 or email tips@sled.sc.gov to help with the investigation.

this suspect is armed and dangerous and he's willing to go the extra mile to kill someone his face showing that mask should not be hard to find if he's still around inn and surrounding areas technology ought to be able to size up a person forehead and eyebrows and eyes in a mask by taking it photographic of someone out on the street maybe he already have a mugshot that can be technology printed to the face that is in that camera digital geographic image of a person like that a good artist could be able to see sketch someone face off the street and match it with that face behind that mask a lot of his evidences there in the mask also which also which hand he's holding the weapon he's a left-hander
