Man hospitalized in critical condition after being punched in Waynesboro, police say

WAYNESBORO, Ga. (WJBF) – According to the Waynesboro Police Department, on Saturday August 24, at approximately 12:43 a.m. Bobby Herndon was punched by Jockelle Gaines in Magnolia Acres in Waynesboro.

Herndon was taken to an Augusta Hospital where he is in critical condition. Gaines turned himself into the Waynesboro Police Department earlier Saturday and is charged with Aggravated Battery.

This is an ongoing investigation. Anyone with information regarding this incident, is asked to please get in touch with Investigator Greene with the Waynesboro Police Department at 706-554-8030.
