College football is back, and fans of all teams are excited to celebrate another fun college football season

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – College football is back, and many Georgia fans celebrated the Dawg’s first game back against Clemson.

“The most important thing about football season is the Georgia Bulldog fans, and I want to see the dawgs get on Clemson,” said Michael Luke, a Football Fan.

Football fans are once again spending their Saturdays watching their favorite team and spending time with friends.

“Championships, lots of them, and I’d say probably just the whole experience of the football season,” said Bob Lloyd, a Football Fan. “Getting together with friends even though they don’t like being on camera, and drinking beer, comradery.

Many have different traditions when watching the games with their friends they look forward to.

“The weather, the tradition. We do it year after year you know it’s a good time,” said Nickalas Blackstone, a Georgia Fan.

With new players on their teams and many favorites having graduated, some fans wonder what the season will look like.

“I’ve been a Georgia fan my whole life. I’m really looking forward to just seeing all the new people that they have on the team this year, and seeing how they work out,” said Kaitlin Woods, a Georgia Fan. “Because I know we lost a lot of good ones.”

Georgia fans are also hoping to see their team back in the championship and are looking forward to making new memories this season.
“I can’t wait to see what Kirby does with the season,” said Haley Long, a Georgia Fan. “I mean, I know they’ve been training all year long. We’ve been season ticket holders my whole life, so I love the colder weather and the good vibes. Everybody has a great time.”
