Reed Creek Nature Park to host a Biology Career Day on Sept. 10

COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ga. (WJBF) – Reed Creek Nature Park and Interpretive Center is giving young nature enthusiasts an opportunity to network with biology professionals.

The nature park is hosting a Biology Career Day Nature on Tuesday, Sept. 10 at 6 p.m.

Biology Career Day, which is expected to organized as an “expo style” event, is targeted toward middle and high school students, though younger students and undergraduates are also welcome.

According to Columbia County, those in attendance can expect obtain a better understanding of a typical workday and learn about education requirements for careers in the field of biology.

Reed Creek Nature Park is located at 3820 Park Lane in Martinez, Ga. In the case of rain, the event will be held in The Market.
