Missing Aiken woman found safe

UPDATE 9/7/2024 | According to authorities, Kelsey Bennett has been located safe and well.

AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WJBF) – Aiken County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for help in finding a missing woman after family says she has not been heard from in weeks.

Kelsey Anna Mhyre Bennett, 39 was last heard from in July 2024, after speaking with her family over the phone.

Bennett is described as 5 feet 1 inch, 150 pounds and having red hair and hazel eyes.

According to the report, family members told investigators she is known to frequent places in Aiken S.C. and Augusta, Ga.
