AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – Two Augusta teens were arrested, each on a Felony count in relation to an incident at Glenn Hills High School Thursday.

Mikle Johnston, 17 and Anthony King, 17, were charged on a Felony count of Weapons in School Building/Grounds/Function on Sept. 12.

According to arrest warrants, both teens are accused of unlawfully possessing pocket knives “within the school safety zone of Glenn Hills High School.”

The report states that an individual observed Johnston “stabbing trashcans” with a weapon. School administrators then conducted a search and located a silver pocket knife in Johnston’s bag in a classroom.

A general sweep of the area for contraband was conducted by a Richmond County K-9 unit, where a positive alert located a white pocket knife in King’s bag in the hallway.

Both Johnston and King are currently being held at the Charles B. Webster Detention Center.
