    Columbia Co. School District holding ‘Let’s Talk’ forum on school safety, other important info

    COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ga. (WJBF) – The Columbia County School District will be holding an informational series entitled “Let’s Talk.”

    School administrators say this is the first forum, which will be held on Thursday, September 19th at 5:30 P.M. at Grovetown High School on Warrior Way.

    Administrators state that this is a free student/parent forum that is open to the community, and it will discuss important information on topics facing youth today including school safety, vaping
    and drug prevention, gang violence prevention, and bullying.

    According to the Columbia County School District, the goal of the event is to provide education and awareness on these issues and engage the community on knowing the warning signs and the resources available to respond.
