Caring for Carolina Family Fun Day and Health Fair providing residents with resources for mental health

AIKEN, SC. (WJBF) – Your mental health is the goal of a partnership between WJBF, Aurora Pavilion Behavioral Health, Bridgestone, and Aiken Regional Medical Centers to spread awareness and education about mental health in our community.

The Caring for Carolina Family Fun Day and Health Fair took place at Aiken Senior Life Services. The event’s goal was to provide information on mental health, self-care, enrichment exercises, and activities and show them the resources available in the area.

“Our goal is to get everybody speaking the same message across all stakeholders in our community,” said Andrea Gregory, the Director of Business Development at Aurora Pavilion Behavioral Health. “When it comes to mental health and taking care of ourselves. You know, for us to be able to go out there and be the great moms, the great dads, the great employees, and service people in our community, we have to take care of ourselves.
