Allendale Police searching for suspect in connection with assault on pregnant victim

ALLENDALE, S.C. (WJBF) — The Allendale Police Department is search for a wanted person.

They are looking for Demetricus Elmore. Investigators say Tuesday they responded to a possible assault at business on Main Street South. The victim said Elmore attacked her after she confirmed she was pregnant.

He allegedly hit her in the abdomen and then later tried to reach out more than 17 times in just 30 minutes. She got medical treatment. He’s wanted for attempted murder, assault and battery, and stalking.
