MILLEN, Ga. (WJBF) – It’s been 11 years since a 74-year-old man disappeared from Jenkins County.

On September 26th, 2013, L.C. Burroughs returned to his salvage yard on Highway 23 in Millen.

He was on the phone, arguing about stolen car parts. Then, the call disconnected.

    Burroughs was never seen again.

His family is still hoping someone comes forward with information on what happened to him.

His daughter, Felicia Steverson, told NewsChannel 6, “Several individuals have called me and stated that it was a husband and a wife team.  That there were several individuals that came and, of course, my dad caught them stealing.”

A $20,000 reward is being offered. Anyone with information on his disappearance should contact the GBI .

He was a wonderful man. So nice. He did not deserve whatever happened. So heartbreaking. I met him in the latter part of 1998. I bought a part for my car. Praying that truth crush the earth. shall rise again!!
