Shooting suspect wanted in Augusta, considered Armed and Dangerous

AUGUSTA (WJBF) – The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office requests the public’s help locating a shooting suspect.

Authorities say 30-year-old Jeffery Davanta Jones is wanted for an incident that occurred on September 23rd on the 3700 block of Drayton Drive .

When law enforcement responded they found one male victim who was shot at least one time in the right leg and another male victim who was shot at least one time in the buttocks.

They say Jones should be considered Armed & Dangerous .
