    GBI investigating death of Augusta man in Warrenton

    WARRENTON, Ga. (WJBF) – At the request of the Warrenton Police Department, GBI agents are investigating the death of 28-year-old Keveonta Hill of Augusta.

    On Sunday, September 22nd, about 4:20 p.m., the Warrenton Police Department responded to a home in the 100 block of Culpepper Street in Warrenton about a shooting.

    Officers discovered Hill inside the home with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

    A GBI Medical Examiner will perform an autopsy at the GBI Crime Lab in Decatur.

    This investigation is active and ongoing.
