Multiple CSRA high school football games rescheduled/canceled

(WJBF) – A number of local high school football games have been rescheduled this week, due to weather.

As of now, these are the games have been reschduled:

• Laney vs. Thomson moved to October 18th
• Bamberg-Ehrhardt High School vs. Denmark-Olar High School CANCELED
• Airport vs South Aiken – Moved to Saturday at 7:30 pm
• HKT vs Bamberg Ehrhardt- Cancelled
• Edisto vs Denmark Olar – Cancelled
• Burke County at Glenn Hills will now be played at Butler High School. This is because Butler has a turf field. If there are electrical problems Friday, the game will be moved to Saturday at Noon at Butler.
• Augusta Prep’s Homecoming football game has been postponed. If field conditions are playable, the game may be moved to Saturday (Sept. 28) at Richards Stadium.
  • The annual Homecoming festivities and game have been rescheduled, moving to the already-scheduled football contest vs. Edmund Burke Academy on Friday, Oct. 11.
