CSRA power outages, flooding, damage reports, road closures due to Hurricane Helene

CSRA (WJBF) – As Hurricane Helene approaches the CSRA, some areas are already reporting power outages, downed trees, flooding, and damage.

If you want to report a power outage in your neighborhood, check below for resources from your electric provider. As of 6:45 a.m., 389,521 have been reported across the state of Georgia.

• Tree down on I-20 east bound between mile marker 2 and 3, one lane blocked

Burke County, Ga.:

• Blount Chapel Rd near Hwy 305 – Multiple Trees down and power lines
• 366 residents in Vidette are without power
• Hwy 305 before Hwy 24 – Tree down
• North College Street between 305 and Blackberry Lane at Highway 305 is closed due to storm damage
• Trees down on Highway 25 at Brier Creek
• Trees down on Southern Oaks Road in several locations
• Trees/powerlines down on Farmers Bridge Rd. near Perkins Mill Rd.
• Trees/powerlines down on Seven Oaks Rd. near Cates Mead Rd. near Botsford Church Road
• Trees/powerlines down on HIghway 80 near River Road

Jefferson County, Ga.:

• 2nd street is closed due to flooding
• Coleman Chapel Rd @ Greens Old Mill Rd
• Paradise Road @ Hwy 80
• Pinetucky Road @ Greens Old Mill Rd

Columbia County, Ga.:

• Street flooding reported on William Few
• Parkway and Windmill Parkway
• Parking lot flooded at Parkway Elementary School
• Part of Old Berzelia Rd. is blocked on the section closest to Newmantown Rd.
• The Pass at Saddletree Lane flooded
• Reynolds Farm Road  Wildlife Court – Closed
• Blue Ridge Drive at Panther Crossing near Lakeside High School- Road Closed
• Traffic lights out on Hereford Farm Road at Cox Road
• Traffic blocked on William Few Parkway at Askbrook Way and William Few Parkway  at John Adams Road next to Patriots Park due to downed trees
• Owens Road at Taft Drive is completely Blocked due to a transformer fire
