    Aiken Co. Sheriff issues curfew for residents

    AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WJBF) – Aiken County Sheriff Michael Hunt has issued a curfew for Aiken County.

    According to authorities, Aiken County Chairman Gary Bunker signed a Emergency Declaration on Thursday night, and under the emergency declaration, Sheriff Hunt instituted a crew for Aiken County starting Friday, September 27th at 7:30 P.M. to 7:30 A.M.

    Sheriff Hunt states that essential workers for local businesses or services and responders are exempt from this curfew.

    Sheriff Hunt also states that violators and/or looters will be arrested.
