    Columbia Co. EMA asking for volunteers to help clear storm debris

    COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ga. (WJBF) – Columbia County EMA is requesting anyone that’s available to help out their fellow neighbors.

    In addition, they want to update the community on the latest.

    Per their Facebook page , teams are actively clearing roadways of downed trees to ensure safe passage.

    Also:

    • Power outages may persist for several days.
    • We’ll be sharing a comprehensive resource list on our social media soon.
    • Interested in volunteering to help clear properties? We’d love your support! Please call 706-312-7293 if you are interested in volunteering.
    • We will be sending crews out to collect yard debris. Please remember to place yard debris at the edge of your property and do not block roadways.
