Georgia Governor Brian Kemp on local recovery efforts after Helene

(WJBF) – Georgia Governor Brian Kemp is sending resources to help this area recover from the storm.

WJBF NewsChannel 6’s Brad Means talked to the governor about the situation. Gov. Kemp says the entire state is feeling the effects of Helene. He’s asking everyone to be patient as crews work to get things back to normal.

Governor Kemp also says the state is sending generators to many local convenience stores, so they can turn their gas pumps back on.
