One person dead after shooting incident on 10th St. and Florence St.

RICHMOND COUNTY, Ga. (WJBF) – One person is dead after a shooting incident that happened on Saturday, September 28th.

According to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to 10th Street and Florence Street in reference to a gun shot victim at 5:20 P.M., where they say they located one male victim who was shot in the chest at least one time.

Authorities say the victim was taken to the hospital where he later died.

According to RCSO, two subjects have been detained at this time.

This is an active investigation.
