18-year-old dead after shooting incident

RICHMOND COUNTY, Ga. (WJBF) – An 18-year-old is dead after a shooting incident that happened on Friday, September 20th.

According to authorities, the Richmond County Coroner’s Office responded to Wellstar/MCG on Friday, September 27th in reference to the shooting death which happened on the 1300 block of Druid Park.

The Coroner’s Office identified the shooting victim as Jean Paul Magala, 18, who was shot at least one time and transported to Wellstar/MCG by EMS.

According to the Coroner’s Office, Magala was pronounced dead on September 27th.

An autopsy has been scheduled.
