    Red Cross of Augusta working to provide shelter after Helene

    AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – Red Cross of Augusta is working on providing shelter to disaster victims.

    There are 8 set up in Georgia, 2 of those are in Augusta.

    Right now volunteers are offering emergency feeding throughout communities.

    “We’re starting some emergency feeding. We’ve got emergency response vehicles that are going out to communities all across the state, especially in the southeast and all across Augusta,” said Katie Zwerk, Regional Communications Director.
